F1 2009 features new Abu Dhabi track

With the 2009 FIA F1 championship having come to a close after an amazing weekend at the Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi the attention of the F1 fans is moving to the imminent release of the official video game of the season, F1 2009. Coming to the Nintendo Wii and PSP on 20th November, F1 2009 will give gamers their first chance to experience the state of the art Yas Marina track for themselves.

Introduced to the calendar this season, the Abu Dhabi GP is fully playable in F1 2009 and Codemasters have released a new gameplay trailer showcasing the 5.55km track which has been purpose built for F1 on a man made island. The video is available to view at the new F1 2009 website

The website has been relaunched today with a completely new look and feel to reflect the game’s iconic art style. F1 fans visiting the website will be able to view all of the videos and screenshots that have been released for F1 2009 and get the latest news about the game. RACE PRO for XBOX 360 confirmed for January 2009

RACE Pro, the ultra-realistic racing simulation exclusively for Xbox 360, is confirmed for release in January 2009. The months leading up to release will be used to ensure the game reaches the highest possible standard of excellence, the hallmark of every game created by Sweden’s world renowned racing sim development studio SimBin.

To give racing fans a tantalizing taste of the real thrill that only RACE Pro can deliver, a playable demo featuring online multiplayer and single player racing will be available via Xbox Live before Christmas.

The new game will feature international movie star, Maggie Q, as the lead character in the big-budget live-action sequences that propel the original story forward as players get behind the wheel. EA’s Need for Speed Undercover takes the franchise back to its roots and re-introduces break-neck cop chases, the world’s hottest cars and spectacular highway battles.
